Much of Gunnar’s writing work has also taken the form of public talks, academic papers, and public readings.
Kristjana Gunnars’ books are cross-generic in nature, covering poetry, short fiction, creative non-fiction, casual essays and academic essays, translations and edited collections. She often writes in series--poem and story cycles as well as series of books. She fuses the poetic and the theoretical and enjoys disturbing poetry and narrative with philosophical interludes.
The following pages introduce readers and scholars to different aspects of Gunnars' writings, and may help obtain a broader perspective, as well as particulars, on individual works and the way they fit together.
